As per the title - I had a gent request Super Freak at a gig last night, but I got kinda stuck as to what I could follow it with that was roughly along the same lines (genre & tempo).
MC Hammer would have been way too cheesy and obvious.

It is a bridge...you can then move onto Blue Monday, You Spin Me Right Round, it is the easiest way. Other wise, you just do a radio fade, and switch up to anything you want. When playing live don't get too hung up on genres and tempos...

Yeah, I know this!
It was just that compared to what I was playing (70s/80s soul, funk etc.) Super Freak was a bit of an oddity style-wise, so I was hoping to get some ideas from others who might have BTDT and bought the T shirt.
New Order and Dead Or Alive are not the sort of thing that gets played at that venue, so they're out!

I have been there, I did it for almost 30 years. If you want funk suggestions, try Kool and the Gang. Or, Earth Wind and Fire. At this point in my career, I'm printing, and selling, the T-Shirts.....

See, Super Freak is more of a P-Funk style track, but it's pretty fast. That's where it throws me.
Nearest I can think of, style wise, is something like Fool For Love (Prince Charles etc) but it's a lot slower.
