Topic: Turntable speed up and slow down why?

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

So I went down the cheap route and bought two stanton t.55 belt drive turntables, probably a mistake cus I've read that belt drive sux. Neway for some strange reason the damn things dont stay in sync even when the same song is playing on both decks, i know im new at turntables but this cant be normal. Can anyone help me with this issue or give me some ideas on what the problem could be. Thanx!

Normaly at your timecde settings in the debug panel keeping the "disable clear sound" ticked sometimes solves the issue...otherwise you have to live with it like I do....Also you can play arround with the pitch sensitivity(also helps in some cases)
And try always to keep your stylus clean...this solve many timecode problems...learned the hard way....

@ fenderisc, thanx buddy! I guess ima have to live with it cus ive tried everything! I even disable the pitch in virtual dj, but still no help!

ditch the beltdrive turntables, they are terrible for djing... this I think is the main problem, but timecodes will fluctuate around +/-0.03 bpm when the pitch is off zero, that is just the nature of the beast using turntables... fluctuations any higher than +/-0.05 bpm and your settings are incorrect.

@ synthet1c yea im gonna save up to buy some direct drives but for now ima practice with these crappy belt drives! I guess the plus of having belt drive is that itll make me more precise at beat matching since they speed up and down like theirs no tomorrow, lol. @ synthet1c Thanx!
