You MAC OSX should support arabic and the English/Arabic Language option will appear in the right top corner of your MAC Menu Bar. You must first select the filename you want to change then once the cursor changed to type tools (its vertical black lines that blinks) you can click the american flag icon with the word U.S. and a drop down menu for the language to choose will show up then select the arabic. See the picture below.
Just tell me if you have the arabic selection to choose in the drop down menu that is in the RED box that i have highlighted if no or grayed out then you need to install the arabic support for you MAC OSX.

This depends on the skin that you are using and what fonts it uses.
Some Mac fonts don't support unicode characters for all languages.
Try using a different skin (Preferably one designed for VirtualDJ v7.)

I'm trying to replicate what is on windows, i have my windows 7 and it is doing well and i haven't notice that it doesn't work in some MAC OSX. I will do a test to try and i will give you an answer tomorrow. Just remind me on my VDJ wall or send me mail on my VDJ private message.

It's a problem with some fonts on MacOS which lack the approrpriate unicode characters.
Most common Windows fonts don't have this problem.
