Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Whats up everyone, last night I was DJ'ing at my house and I was observing a new mixer I got. I noticed that from my numark mixdeck I was going into the mixer useing my master XLRs. My output on my mixer has a LEFT out and a RIGHT out. Ive got one output coming from the left channel into my amp does this mean my right channel isnt even running?

When you connect your Mixdeck to another mixer don't use it's XLR outputs unless your mixer has XLR INPUTS (which is not common between most mixers). Use the standard unbalanced RCA connectors to connect to a Line-In on your mixer You should run a simple RCA to RCA cable (which has 4 male plugs) to do the connection.
2.
On the "second" mixer you must take it's output and connect it to your amp. That's where you're advised to use XLR connections. If your "second" mixer has XLR outputs and your amp has XLR inputs then use these connectors to connect the mixer to the amp
3.
You should run one XLR cable per channel. This means that you'll have one XLR cable for the LEFT channel and another one for the RIGHT channel
4.
Check your "second" mixer to see if it has a "Balance" pot. Put it on the middle.
5.
Check the back of your amp. Check if it has a switch that switches the amp between Parallel, Stereo and Bridge mode. Use the Stereo setting.
6.
Check for bad cables

Ok the cables that were coming out of the mixdeck were XLR to 1/4 inch, As for my amp it has 1/4 inch line in's should i use the cords that were previously running to my mixerboard from my mixdeck to go to the amp from the mixer?

Yes
