Topic: Best Dual Channel Mics For Under $120?

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

I'm a little under two weeks from my next Karaoke gig and wanted to try and get some wireless mics instead of dragging a cable for my sm58 50 ft. Problem is, to order something tonight and have enough time to run tests, I can't spend more than $120. I was thinking about this http://www.pyleaudio.com/sku/PDWM2550/19-Rack-Mount-Dual-VHF-Wireless-Rechargeable-Handheld-Microphone-System at least until I can afford some better units. Seen a few vocopro and a samson in this price range too, what do you think?

DO NOT GET PYLE AUDIO!!!!!!!

Save up more money and get Vocopro or Shure.

How many mics do you need?

don't be in such a hurry, it's a mistake .......

you will probably have to live with it for at least a year..........

wait a couple more weeks if needed and then make your buys

and maybe have the kinda quality you really want......

get thru the current gig without buying anything ....borrow for free or rent

also with a karaoke business you need a mixer that can accommodate more than 2 mics.....

so a plain old PA mixer will work fine and cost less than a similar "karaoke mixer"

Pyle Audio is a lot better now. Someone stepped in and got them on better track. I mean, I have some Samson's myself, which certainly has done the job for me, by simply adding a mic foam cover. Yet Shure is the way to go for sure, there is no denying that one. I never dealt with Vocopro, but I heard they're on point.

Thanks to all for their input!! @Chuck, either way I plan to buy some better ones in a few months after I finish paying off my current gear debts. I been using my Edirol m 16dx mixer for karaoke with 4 mic channels, but I might get a behringer XENYX 1202 since it's a smaller one unit piece.

I actually found a open box Samson Stage 266 on ebay for $40 (they have several available) so I'm gonna just go ahead and get that for now, for that price it's worth a gamble, thanks for that info!!!

Just wanted to say, at first, through my studio monitors the samson mics were pretty noisy. I was all set to write a bad review and chalk it up as a $40 loss but figured I'd wait to try them on my weekly PA tests. It made a huge difference, there was still a little noise when talking but not enough that my housemates virgin ears could really tell. After tonights tests I think $40 well spent, I'm anxious to get em out in the field next week and see how it goes with my sm58 as backup. Still plan on getting the vocopro system next year though;^]

There is a brand called GTD Audio and they make dual wireless mic systems that have a Range of 600 feet and they are cheap in price. $ 160-199. I was reading so many reviews online and the majority are good. They say the quality is excellent and the mics feel really good with great battery life. They are comparing them to Shure & Senheiser. I am debating between the G-200h, G-622H, 733 & The 788H mic systems. You can find reviews on Youtube & Amazon. On youtube, I saw a video of someone demonstrating how far the mic can go. He placed the receiver in his basement and walked outside into his car and drive for a block or two with the transmitter. I was impressed.

is NADY a good brand?

no

shure voco or gtd

Just an update, the Samsons were too unreliable and VERY prone to interference, so I'm getting rid of them and ordered the Vocopro UHF 3200 system (caught em on discount for $160). Hopefully these ones will do the trick;^]
