im using the latest VDJ Pro version with a Numark Mixdeck, everytime i use my effects most of them sound distorted. They also seem to get worse when i move the wet/dry slider or attempt to use the parameter knob. Any ideas why this is happening?
Also can anyone tell me the name of the transition effect most commonly used for house music. that swooshing type sound.

I think your talking about the filter effect, I use this filter plugin it sounds better than the standard filter to me. It gives more of that swoosh sound, just turn the Resonance slider up.

Also you might want to try adjusting your latency setting for the distortion problem. I was having a problem before and it helped but I ended up buying a new laptop anyway.
