Hi, I bought the cross pack about 2 months ago and have been using the mixvibes timecodes. They work great and have no issues with the stability or anything.
However, after using my friends VirtualDJ and his hercules controller, I love the beatgrid effect and layout of the music library. If I were to buy the PRO version of VDJ, can I use my Mixvibes timecode vinyls?
How accurate are they and is it easy to just swap programs?
Looking forward to some answers!
Regards
Dean

Mixvibes DVS v2 is listed as an option in the VDJ timecode setup, so if that's what you have then it should be fine.
For the mods/Atomix staff - I couldn't find info on compatible timecodes anywhere on virtualdj.com. Not in the forum, the wiki, the FAQs, or even the VDJ manuals. There's a page http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Timecode%20Requirements.html which only mentions Serato vinyl, but not any of the others which would work.
The only way to see the full list seems to be to install the software, select timecodes as inputs in advanced config and look at the list.
Maybe someone should add the list of compatible types to the FAQ/wiki. I would do it myself but that page is not editable.

I have no idea which ones they are.... They say (C) Mixvibes 2009 on them so im assuming they were manufactured then... Guess im stuck with 2 deck mixing and a poorly designed library =(

I've just found a review that says v2 was released in 2005, so I reckon there's a very good chance yours are OK.
I think you'll be able to try them out by using the 10 minute VDJ Pro trial.

Hello there! Im using VDJ7 with Torq soundcard and serato vinyl, but I noticed that one turntable has a slower response than the other and that makes mixing dificult. I tried adjusting everything and nothing seems to work, what could be the problem?
