I'm sending MIDI clock out of VDJ 7.4 and using Loopbe1 driver with Lumidesk DMX software to sync my lighting to the music, but sometimes it's off beat and sometimes it's dead on. Is there someplace that can help me understand what the MIDI clock is and how it's working? I'd really like to understand it better. Is there a way I can tweak it forward or backwards to sync up with the music on the fly? I was thinking it was somehow connected to VDJ's CDG and mapped my DAC 3 to be able to move that forward/backwards on the fly, but doesn't seem to effect the MIDI clock.

As far as I know, it is linked to / generated from the beat grid - so if the beat grid's off, then the clock will be too.
It could also be that the Lumidesk software is not very good at syncing to external clock, which would make it even worse.
