Hi guys... I just ordered the XDJ R1... while waiting for it to arrive, I was wondering if I made the right choice. I purchased it at a shop where I go to often and know the guys there real good. So I could always change my mind on another controller. I was also thinking about the Pioneer DDJ-SX2. It's the same price here in holland but offers other features. So please give me any feedback if you have tested one or both of these controllers. I have already tested them, but would love to hear from you all about these two Pioneer controllers.

Hi.. I have one and been using it with virtual dj 7 over one year now.
Works great, fast response, and great control.
Would like to have all led buttons on, but when you switch from CD or USB mode to MIDI, the led light go off. It makes seeing the effects buttons harder...
I also don't use remotebox or the IPAD or Iphone remotebox aplication, as it frooze my unit a couple of times and I had to restart the system. Not a good thing to do on a weeding :(

But i like the idea of using the affects with Remotebox. I have heard of those problems you were talking about before, something you might want to check out is if you are using the latest firmwere 1.08 on your XDJ R1 and to make sure your laptop can handle the load of using VDJ and the MIDI controller at the same time. Sorry... since I sent that last message out... I noticed there have been two more releases of Firmware.
So the latest one is 1.10 for the XDJ R1.
