Im new to Virtual DJ 8 , I have used 7 and got on well with it but im finding that Virtual DJ 8 does not like loading my Ripped cd files , when i drag them to deck 1 or 2 it will not load the full songs , cuts off 2 or 3 minutes at the end but it can read my digital downloads fine , Any tips you can give me ?

What format are your ripped CD files? Are they the same format as the digital downloads?
Are the ripped CD files really long (i.e. multi track mixes)? You can adjust VDJ using the maxpreloadlength setting in config.

I use windows media player and they are Ripped to WMA files , should i convert them to another do you think ?, I have tried adjusting maxpreloadlength but songs take ages to load while playing ( Each tune is about 5 or 6 minutes ) , My digital downloads are mp3 files.

I just found out, It has something to do with the DRM file ( DRM Licenses ), that won't play in VDJ8
