In Version 7, I used "Essential Visuals" to embed the logo (still image) of the host bar in the top right of my video screens.
I also purchased a Pangolin license, and used it for video background video segments (instead of the V7 ClipBank which Ididn't like).
In V8 (on a test machine), I see a setup screen similar to Pangolin on the video effects list (where I assume video clips can be loaded). I haven't transferred everything to the laptop which has the Pangolin license, but I notice that the "Essential Visuals" feature is gone.
When I move everything over and the Pangolin becomes highlighted & available, is that now where I'll be able to configure the "super-impose the logo" feature like I used to with Essential Visuals? It's low-lighted now (on my test machine).
Just wondering what to expect..... thanks!

It's been renamed to "TellyVisuals" and "TellyMedia", Don has kept the dream alive, lol!
You'll find both in the v8 downloads.

Both Essential Visuals and Essential Media are still available. The latest version of both is 8.3. They were both updated earlier this year. Both are available in the VDJ7 and VDJ8 downloads/effects sections. Pangolin is "keeping the dream alive" too ;-)
