I just got my American Audio VMS2, and I was setting it up. I cannot seem to get the headphones to work while I have them plugged into the bottom of the VMS2 where the headphone jack is on the controller. My system is Windows 10. I can get everything working except for the headphones. I am not sure what configuration would make the headphones work.
So far, My settings are Two soundcards
Source Sound Card Channel
Deck 1 ADJ ASIO (ASIO) Out 1&2
Deck 2 ADJ ASIO (ASIO) Out 3 &4
Master USB Audio Device (WASAPI) Chan 1&2
Headphones ???? ??????
what configuration would the headphones have to be on to work?

The audio mixing and the Headphones channel routing is done internally by the VMS2 mixer (Hardware operation of the mixer), despite the fact that you see most of the mixer functions corresponding on the screen (skin)
So, for the Audio setup all you need is the first 2 lines of the above Audio setup, so just..
Deck 1 ADJ ASIO (ASIO) Out 1&2
Deck 2 ADJ ASIO (ASIO) Out 3 &4
should be good enough to have proper pre-listening.
Keep in mind that the Master Output is coming from the MASTER Outputs at the rear of the VMS2, so the Master line is not needed in the Audio setup and your Speakers need to be connected to the VMS2 Output as well.
So, for the Audio setup all you need is the first 2 lines of the above Audio setup, so just..

I use the mix/cue dial and set it to cue so I can pre-listen on deck 2 while deck 1 is playing to master. And mentioned above 1/2 = D1 3/4 = D2
