Since an update or so ago the video crossfade has a mind of its own.
Even with "Link" turned off and even with a split crossfader, the video jumps right to either side if the audio crossfader is there. (But doesn't if it is not)
This is no the way it used to work and not the way I want it to work.
I would like to have the video transition start to kick-in (just a little bit) and stay there -so I can have a bit of the next song show while playing the other. But it slides itself back to wherever it was.
I would like to be able to turn this off if it is a "feature". I think it is a bug. My crossfader should stay where I put it.

If both auto and link are off then you have full manual control over the video crossfader and it shouldn't move on it's own.
If auto is on, it will depend on the selected video transition if it stays at 25% or moves over in one go.

Ha, if I was a god I'd be putting that power to 'good' use ;)
Glad you're sorted.
