I was speaking of the Pads Layout, which is set by default to "automatic". You can still force a specific Layout (e.g. 3 Columns) from Sampler Options menu-->Pads Layout

Ok thanks Babis, to be honest mine will normally be set to fully open on the slider selection when using it, but as I speak I'm having another idea, lol, it would be much better if the slide out windows came out full to the amount of windows that are occupied in the grid plus one row for any new additions to the grid if you get what I mean and to be user selectable.
