I'm new to this DJ thing ... This is my first mixer VDJ 8. I'm trying to figure out how to connect my phone and other peoples phone to my computer so I can play playlists. I connect it with USB but I can'tfind it onthe screen. I have connected it into the mic input but there I have no mixer controls. Help ... I'm a beginner and I know it , but I will learn. Thx

This thread is about this posters issue. None of your post addressed his issue, so I have leveled them all up. It is like you are just ignoring his issue, in favor of yours. Just because it says "basic help" does not mean you can post any basic question here. Please start your own thread, and they will treat your thread with the same respect, as this guy deserves.
To the OP, If you are trying to use your phone with VDJ, it has to see it as a hard drive or storage device. I don't know what kind of phone you have so can't give you specifics. If you are going through your mic channel, then your mic gain and master gain should allow the sound to come through, provided you are using the right cable, and the channel is set to line.
