If you use Windows get an Android, If you use Mac get an Ipad.

i use windows but my back up is a MBP which i dont bring with me lol....
and im only going for a 2nd hand tablet, iv been thinking, if i get an android with a o/s version 4 , would that be ok or woyld i need an latest version o/s

Instead of using the vdj remote have you considered just getting a touch screen monitor and using a two window skin?

Pretty much, it does depend on the skin having external windows,
Which will probably mean customising something yourself.
The down side is it won't be a remote, you'll be tied by a power cable but you'll get better latency.
Just something to consider

A Man and His Music
The full version of Virtual DJ, and the Virtual DJ Remote, are two different things. As stated, the Remote works on an Android Tablet, to control the full version that is on the computer.
