A couple of questions
Remix points are invisible until you bring up the associated pad page, can this be done any other way [curious how it happens]
The remix pad page has a strange behaviour, you can't create a remix point of say remix 6 from the pad until 1 - 5 have been filled, if I delete remix point 1 all the other points move 1 pad to the left,
Is this the expected behaviour?

I felt the same, but this is what I figure;
Imagine using hotcues to mark '64s/'128s or important points of the track, start, bass, breakdown, drop
you'll have filled most of the cues [the first 8], remix points are suited to really mashing a track up [picking non 64 beats], and they don't show on the wave [until you pick the remix pad page] so the wave isn't cluttered.
there's also the fact that remix points are guessed automatically [vdj going for something similar to MiK's autocue] but tbh last time I checked it wasn't great at guessing, it was a while ago though
