Use toggle instead of 1 and then you can turn them both off again with the same button.

I think you misunderstand, If I press "loop 8" twice the first press turns the loop on the second will turn it off

Yeah and the other way it uses whatever loop length you have predefined unless I used the wrong verb or something.
