My dj setup is 2 traktor x1s and a laptop. I use each side of the x1s to control a different deck, so I have 4 decks in total.

How would I set up headphones for this?

It looks like maybe the only way is to run it through a 4 channel mixer, and to use each channel's headphone cue button.
I'd like to run it through a single channel of a mixer, and sometimes to not use a mixer at all. Is that possible?

Eg if I code a button on each side of the X1s to be a headphone cue, then I'll have 4 headphone cue buttons (1 for each deck).
The X1s connect to my laptop. Then I'd connect the laptop to a single channel on the mixer via a 3.5mm to 2 x RCA. The headphones would plug into the mixer. But would this allow me to actually split the decks in the headphones?
I ask because I need to know how to connect this setup to a venue's system with only one spare channel on their mixer.

I guess the reason no-one is replying is that the impression is you are using cracked software.
You've been coming here for years now asking tech questions but still have a home licence so that's the impression I get.

I see. I appreciate you pointing it out. I keep my activity on all forums totally separate to anything that contains my personal details. I don't like having information about me stored on databases, and it lets me speak my mind freely. It's a personal choice.

For anyone else that wants to know the answer to this, it looks like the simplest way is to use an external usb soundcard.
