I have my music on ex drive and my folders etc. When I make changes to a song or video on the main drive and back it up to second ex drive the changes does not show up on second drive. How do I keep the files the files the same as main drive.

If you're using both your computer's own drive and an external, There will be two databases to deal with. One on the computer and the other on the external drive.
Any changes you make need to be done within VDJ, otherwise the database(s) will not know what you've done.
