Hey guys. I'm wondering how people create the skins that are found on the VDJ site in the downloads section. Is there some kind of special software for this? Are the people that make these programmers? How does all this magic happen?- I want a piece

That's the easy way (a bunch of preset choices) but of course it can also be done manually with your own graphics created from scratch.
The manual way is how the skins in the download section are created.
You can learn by studying existing skins (and maybe modifying them), by reading the wiki pages on skin creating, and by asking questions in the skin forum.
