Is there any preferred way to get a printed manual of VirtualDJ? I'd like to be able to view it even when I don't have a computer/laptop/smart device handy.

You obviously have a computer. Do you not have a printer connected to it?
Even if you don't, you can take the PDF to a place that does have a printer, and get yourself a paper copy.
