As the title states. I got a Pioneer DDJ 1000 which works flawlessly with Virtual DJ. I wanted to have access to more performance pads so I bought the DDJ XP1 to use in conjunction with the DDJ 1000. The problem is that their mappings seem to collapse with each other. I press a mode on the XP1 and the pads do not light up correctly on either of the controllers, everything is kind of wacky. I looked at the configuration and I noticed that a lot of the things have the same names which is probably what is causing the odd behavior. The question is, is there a way to operate these two controllers independently of each other? Is there a way to rename everything on either configuration to prevent one controller from affecting the other?
Thanks in advance, I can still return the XP1 if need be, however, I would really love to make it work to keep it.

Make the xp1 an independent pad device [right click the mapping]

Thanks for that quick response. That is exactly what I was looking for. Where in the world did you find that. It doesn’t seem to be documented.
I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for all your other contributions to the community. I have read your other posts in this forum and they are very insightful and helpful.
