Another good one is Echo but activate slip mode. When cranking the filter, grab the platter, let go of the platter when returning the filter to neutral. As we can't kill the fader and leave the FX sound play, the slip mode platter grab achieve the same. You can also kill the Gain knob to leave the FX tail 100% wet but that trick only works on a few FX.
