Topic: Synching BPM when mixing two pre-recorded mp3s together

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

Hello, I'm trying to synch the bpm of a pre-recorded mix with another track and another pre-recorded mix but can't seem to get the synch function on VDJ8 to function in the same way as it does when I'm mixing. Is there a solution for this which will keep the two synched and won't jump out of time?

All assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Mixed tracks usually don't have constant BPM (BPM is different at various sections of the track as the tracks inside the mix change)
VirtualDJ automatically scans tracks larger than 20 minutes for "Variable" BPM.
However if your mixed track is smaller or if you think it was not scanned correctly, open the BPM editor and then click on the small dot button on the right of the BPM value and select "Re-Analyze (Multiple BPM)" option.
It should scan the file and detect BPM changes. It's not perfect, especially on mixed tracks since there's always going to be a "delay" to detect when the transition between the tracks is over and BPM is again constant, but for the most part it should detect the BPM variations inside the mixed file and offer new BPM values for different parts of the mix where you can sync the other track at.
If you want, after the analyze is done you can manually tweak the BPM changeover points by using the BPM editor.
You can read the manual for more information on how to do that.
