Just curious if the new CDJ usb stick export is compatible with playing on the XDJ-XZ aswell ?

Actually maybe not
If it has only been developed and tested on CDJs - maybe by a developer who only have access to CDJs - it may be still just assumed that it will work on an XDJ-XZ because that can read thumb drives formatted for CDJs

Yes, CDJ Export creates USB sticks which load and play on all XDJ-series too.
