I've become accustomed to the skin on my laptop for this version of Virtual dj. Want to use a controller to compliment it. Are there any controllers still using VDJ8?

Not sure I understand your question. If you like a particular skin, you can use it on any current version of VDJ.
VDJ 8 is still the latest version. Currently it's version 8.5 - other names like VDJ 2020 or VDJ 2021 are not really the proper version name, more like promotional names.
