I'm using the latest version of Virtual DJ and a midi controller with buttons.
I had tried mapping a button to beatjump with this command, so I could jump a bar forward with one press:
deck right & beatjump +4
weird thing is it's only working when I use deck left, like
deck left & beatjump +4
, but not working with deck right. It simply does nothing.
I also tried commands without deck right, and commands with deck 2. It seems it's only working with deck left or deck 1.

& is used to combine 2 different actions.
To declare a deck you simply write the deck syntax before the action:
deck left beatjump +4

I don't think the & is relavent. I tried
deck right beatjump +2
and it's also not working. And when I change the right to left it's working on left deck.

I just tested your exact script on a custom button
And of course "&" is relevant
You are programming in a scripting language when re-mapping - everything is relevant
