Hello guys, im just new on the virtual dj app. But if I download some Apple Music songs and place it in the dj desk, it says DRM-protected files? Can someone help me with this problem?

DRM = Digital Rights Management
They can't be used in VirtualDJ.

But why is Apple Music than available in the app? Do you have a tip for me, how I can play music?

Tracks from Apple's Music Subscription services are protected by DRM so that you cannot play it in any other software than Apple.
That's by design. Nothing VirtualDJ (or any other music software) can do about it.
This is done so that Apple can check everytime you play a track, that you're still paying your subscription.

If you have purchased the tracks, they will appear. If its a subscription to the streaming service, they will not play.

I am an Apple Music subscriber and use Itunes through Virtual Dj. When I went to purchase music for a gig it took me to browse instead of store. So I added the songs to my library, however, then discovered that I cannot play music from Apple Music on Virtual Dj. Any help would be appreciated.

nothing like digging up a two year old post instead of using the forums Search box for quick results.
if you had read previous comments or other posts you would have seen that you cannot play DRM protected music INCLUDING crApple music streaming. there are other options for streaming for those who are too cheap to buy music - but not all are legal for use professionally. Tidal, Deezer, idjPool but make sure you read the fine print and Terms Of Service BEFORE using.
