Topic: Exporting a playlist to a USB flash drive to play in the car.
I was today old when I discovered how to do this using VDJ V8.
1. In VDJ make your playlist and edit as usual and save.
2. On your flash drive create a folder with the name of your playlist.
3. In VDJ browse to "LISTS and ADVICE" on the left top of the screen.
4.Under Lists and Advice scroll down to "PLAYLISTS" and open.
5. Select the playlist you want to export and right click.
6. From the menu that pops up select export and click.
7. From the window that pops up select files.
8. A "SAVE" menu will pop up in the SAVE AS will have the name of your play lists, the third box down will have a pull down that allows yo to select where the file will be saved. Here select your flash drive ten the folder you created note also the format is (*m3u). Then hit the "SAVE" button. Wait it takes a few minutes to transfer the files depending on how many songs in your playlist.
DONE.....
In your car after you plug in your flash drive you should be able to navigate to the playlist and select and viola! it plays. Note I tried in a BMW that in the Media mode has a search icon that allowed me to select the file. I single flash drive will hold several playlist depending on the size of the drive and the playlists. Have fun....
