Topic: "Graphics Failed to Load." Error on MacBook Pro
OrCrushPRO InfinityMember since 2011
Bought an older MacBook Pro to use as a backup gig laptop.

Specs:
- Maacbook Pro 15 inch, early 2011
- 16GB RAM
- 2GHz i7
- AMD Radeon 6490M 256 MB
- Intel HD Graphics 3000 512MB
- Mac OS High Sierra V10.13.6 (this is the highest OS this hardware supports)

Any time I try to launch Virtual DJ Pro (latest version, I have a Pro Infinity license) on this laptop I get an error that "Graphics Failed to Load".

Please advise.

install latest graphics drivers

That's not correct. You can't install drivers on a macbook. Of course you can but macbook has its own drivers built in the os.

Could your problem be that you have used a backup from your main Mac? If so, delete settings and let Virtualdj create a new file. Problem could be that you have Metal instead of Opengl.

So the MacBook, GPU and OS serup you have is very very old.
While the Minimum specs page does give the impression that VirtualDJ can run on it, it might need options tweaking to run correctly. Since.you got a graphics error, you might try starting with disabling or lowering all of the GPU related options in the settings.xml manually (since you can't start without a graphics error - it's located in the VirtualDJ folder and can be found as described here. If you can't get that to work, then maybe try an older build of VirtualDJ, as described in the min requirements page.
