I had my library set up mostly with what were called virtual folders and after the update all of them have duplicate tracks in them. The dupes have the same file path. They're just listed twice. How do I remove them? Why did it do this? This update is absolutely terrible.

But yes, duplicates are "legal" now because lists are a combination of playlists, which allow for a track to be in the list more than once, and virtual folders
You can tell a list to not allow duplicates by right-clicking it and selecting "no duplicates"

Hi, so if I understand correctly when I upgrade to 2024 will all the contents of my library of playlists and virtual folders (230) be merged together? If so I will never update my version!

No, the playlists will go into the new 'My Lists' folder, and the virtual folders stay where they were
