Topic: Audio drops out for a sec during playback of a recording
I recently purchased the Pioneer Rev 5 and a brand new Asus laptop with i9 processor, 24gb RAM. I've done several recordings. During playback the audio will cut out for about a sec. This doesn't happen on every recording. At first I thought it was the file but it happened during the transition with both songs playing. I used the Pioneer Sx3 with a older pc for the last 3 years with no issues at all. I did maybe 200+ recordings. Thank you in advance for your support. I tried to upload a short video with no luck.

Did you click the link and read the page? There’s lots that can affect real time audio and video performance, even (especially?) on newer laptops.

Usually a larger audio buffer (latency) will fix that, at the recording device.
Try set buffer to 256 or 512 samples, even 1024 if needed

You can also try this tool to detect any resource hogs on your computer that could interrupt real-time audio playback https://www.resplendence.com/latencymon
