Is there some particular file type for pictures to get the slideshow to work... I had a folder with .jpg and other file types... when I turned on the slideshow...it just kept showing shader video...

gonna depend on how you did it. as audio only visualization or video effect, and if you had it resized or the transparency changed. lots of reasons that it wouldn't but without details then hard to figure it out.
