It would be interesting if Virtual DJ would record the CUE points and Loops in the metadata of the audio files themselves, just like other programs do, so we would always have our CUE points and Loops in the audio files themselves.

Other programs, store up to 16 cues/loops per file, and some (limited) information about each cue/loop (name,duration,color and of course position)
VirtualDJ does much more than that.
You have unlimited number of cues per file, and each cue can hold much more info than mentioned above (e.g. the script for action POIs)
This means that the ID3 tags of files are not really suitable to store that info.
Also VirtualDJ will NOT write anything on your files unless you specifically ask it to do so (e.g. when saving/editing tags)
Changing the file itself each time you set a new hotcue or delete an old one, is not something VirtualDJ would like to do on your files.
