The auto-start for recording is not working. Is this a bug or have I got a setting wrong?

Im sure you have a wrong setting! When you put auto-start, you have tu push start recording, then write the name of your recording and when the 1st song starts to play, the auto-start began to work! I hope you can understand my poor english,
