I use IBM THINKPAD PIII 1000Mhz, 386Ram, 30Mb HD, DVD player, win 2000 pro.

Step 1. I run atomix and the curves comes step by step in the browzer. Sometimes i got skiping problems on the playing songs.

Step 2. Before i run atomix i run dvd player software and i minimize its window. Then i run atomix and the curves comes very fast at once and i dont have any skiping problem.

Any idea why that happend?
Whats the connection between dvd software and atomix?

Possibly because the DVD program will launch its own way of using the DVD drive, which should be must better then the Windows one

I'm not sure, but it could be it

I wonder if the DVD software changes your resolution....

No, dvd player doesnt change anything i can see. The dvd player is the dvd player from win2k. In system32 directory of WINT there is DVDplay.exe. That is the dvd software i run and minimize before i run atomix. My sound card is ALi Audio on board in thinkpad. But i got the same problem even with external TELEX USB audio.

View in your VGA Resolution, in default Win2k make it at 32bit or 24 Bit
Try with 16 Bit
