Last night I did a gig with the VDJ time code CD's and my CDJ 800's. IT seemed the response time was not what it should be when using the time code. I was scratching with it and using the cue points on the CD player and it just wasnt responsive enough. I am still usiing my same compyrer which is a INSPIRON 8600 with 768M ram and a USB Maya 44. is there something else I can do? a better sound card? better LAPTOP?? I know the laptop is slow since it is a pentium M but I dont know if that is the only issue...

What do you have your latency set as in the asio configuration? You might try adjusting to a faster one. I don't have the software in front of me but I believe I use the rapid setting or the second one from the top of the list with TCV.
