I have been using VDJ for about two weeks with no problems and it sounds great. My timecode quality says 0% and plays fine, do I need to get it to say 100%..???

what mode should I be using? Also what is the difference between the modes?

1. absolute
2. smart
3. relative

Make sure your sound in is muted on your sound card (one), and yes, it would be good that it shows 100% cuz if not then u will have problems of it not responding correctly (two).

BTW, what sound card are u using?

LOWER the volume at the inputs.. 100 % is only needed for scratch

Probably the input of the TCCD is too loud. Lower the volume in the maya config. To open this config: VDJ->Config->Sound card setup->lowlatency timecode vinyls->Config timecode->Asio config
