HI just started useing Virtual dj and its great but i keep getting slow down and skipping some times? my computer is a p4 3GHz and has 512mb of ram will buying more ram taking me up to 1024mb sort this out?

as audio is decoded in the ram theoreticaly the more you have the better.

well.. ram is important. But you can also try to optimize your system. I have P4 with 1GB ram and it didn't work properly with 512MB, but with optimizing it was ok. Then i upgraded to 1GB.

have a look at www.theorica.net
try Game xp , and safe xp to optimise ur settings if you are unsure of what to do , as even the smallest mistake in some of the more advanced settings on xp can make windows currupt.
both are 100% free and spyware and virus free
make sure you use the back up tool , in both programs.
