What's the differance of these three differant modes?

I believe it is absolute - just like real vinyl with features from the s/w missing, relative a cross between absolute and smart (some s/w features usable but not all) and smart (all s/w features usable). I know I read it either in the forums or in the new release information. I may be amending as I'm going to search right now.
