How do you get rid of the beat on Virtual DJ so that you can only hear the vocals or what the srtist is singing? Please help

You can try the “vocals+” plugin, which is included with the demo. It works well with some songs.
 
Removing beats or vocals will work only partly in most cases. Search the forum for vocal remover. It has been discussed before. Better is to get the instrumental or acapella of the song.
