8X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW / 24X CD-RW Combo w/Software
I am also getting a U46DJ Sound Card and am using 2 Time Coded Vinyls with Numark TT1625 Turntables and an Numark Mixer.
Is this a good setup?

Yes, this laptop is very powerfull (it is Alienware!) and the sound card is a good choice too. You will enjoy it ;)

Are you planning on doing video? I don't know if the video card will do video. DJ Cyder could help you with this. For audio only it will do easily.
