I was just wondering if there is a quick fix that I can use to be able to play from my laptop before my soundcard arrives.
I could use my headphone jack, but it sounds like crap when it's loud.

You might try a radio shack type usb sound adapter, you can get them for 9 to 10 bucks.
Actually, I got two small Usb Behringer sound cards. You can borrow one for Friday night if you want.
I need 'em both for Saturday, however.
