Hello,

I have a Maya EX5 external soundcard
First I used BPM studio but now I was testing VDJ and now I hear with VDJ and also BPM studio CRACKLES/POPS when I'm playing a ballad.

There's a big list on this forum about these problems but I can't find the solution.
Can somebody help me.

Did everything I could from the manual but still the same problems.
Even when I start bpm studio, still hear crackles.

Did everythinh I could.

Any suggestions left?

Please help me If you can

hello again,

Thanks for all the help !!!

I did EVEYTHING the manuals tells me to do about cracking.
Then I saw something about the wireless pci card, that maybe this could be the problem.
Did not help.
Then I downloaded the latest Asio drivers for my Maya EX5.
Now BPM studio plays everything without any cracking but Virtual Dj with the Asio driver didn't work at all.
I'm spending more then 10 hours to get this fixed, but now I don't know anymore.
Strange that bpm studio with the Asio drivers works perfect but not for VDJ.

Another point for the future:

Make NO difference when I want to search for a song like "pump it up" or Pump it up"
With VDJ I don't see the same when I search somethin with a p or P

In BPM studio all the words are with capital letters.
That's easier to look at.

BPM studio saves a playlist of all the songs you played.
So far Ican see VDJ makes a playlist and save them from the songs you selected.


And if someone have an idea to solve my cracking problem: Be my guest !!!

Set AUTO for latency inside VDJ performance tab...

And lower the performance slider until you have good sound

Turn off savemode, and try overclock on and off (works different on different pcs)

i use system mechanics 6 pro to set my pc remove any startup programs ect... it helped speed up the loading time and removed some skiping that i had :)

yeah absolutely, if you don't know what you are doing make a restore point ASAP! i was technician in a radioshak and we used this prog to restore speed/health to pc's;)

Or you can just use a program like End It All. It works great for getting rid of services that don't need to be running, you set it up once and just kill the programs before opening VDJ and works a charm.
