Hi anyone, I am trying VDJ 4.0, I think I will buy it since is the best software for DJ I ever tried, but I'd like to see some thinghs before:
1) Please find the way to keep BMP inside mp3 tag (like other DJ sw)
2) Prelisten music is too much complicated, if You wish preliste music from playlist you have to
1) Select trak
2) Right Click
3) Select "Listen"
4) Once opened prelisten window you have to assign (manual and not automatic) which channel prelisten
5) Then You have to press (with mouse) play button
Please provide short cut from keyboard or from a deck such Visionic DAC-2, only one key play/stop with key arrows to navigate on playlist (Or include a little player inside playlist, such Visionic PCDJ - Red)
3) Playlist doesn't show BMP, this is not helpful

as 4.0 has not been available as a trial for a long time .

do you mean BPM or BPM? BPM is beats, BMP is bitmap image. if you have 3 outputs you can make one allways to preview/prelisten songs so you dont have to do it manualy. in the new pro version you can make the headphone and the prelisten on the same ch, if you only have 2 for example

I have Notebook HP with Maya USB 4 Channels out, but the software already to prelisten when you use internal mixer (It's swap players: one is playing for exampler 1 then it's switch on the 2 player and the rispectlvly channels so you can easy hear on the hearphone) sorry probably I didn't say I use external mixer

mk2 is a different version of Virtual Deejay 4.0?
Where is headphone selector? you mean the slide on the top with cue / mix? if so is so damn noisly to use, i prefer use keyboard, mouse i too much slow

if you choose the headphone mode
and then press ppl next to the deck with is not playing and
have the the headphone slider to Mix
mk2 is a special controler/card which takes the legwork away for you by having hardware controler knobs for preview
you can hear the next song but others can :)
its been there for a while on the keyboard shorcuts :)

skyfxl sorry but I didn't understand what you wrote, I'd like to make prelisten with hardware I have, not to buy more thinghs !!!! ehehehehehe, as already I tell Virtual DJ is the best sw to make Digital DJ, but for me, it's fundamental to prelisten songs before You load into player (Avoiding VDJ sign it as "already played"), I use Visionic PC-DJ Red, it's onest softwtare than look what player is playing and allow you to play/stop songs from playlist just pressing Enter (NK) on the other stereo channel (The one is not playing that's it !!!

or you can load it up on a deck
and press PFL

I am using VDJ Version 7.03. Unlike the previous versions ie 6.0 etc, I'm ain't able to prelisten to song from playlist before loading it on the decks. That means I am forced to load song and prelisten from he decks. Any hint how do it? Will real appreciate. Thx...

the SOUND INSURGENT
Yup look at the bottom of your browser for a speaker icon, click on it and you can preview your tracks from the browser. Also read the manual it has all the info you seek there.
