this program well.....
its awsome, had mates over last nite they would come down and produce some alright stuff, had the music pumping out my big speakers, we was mixing evering, sum of it sounded poor, but we yet to master, we had , dance, trance, rave, rock, punk, rap
unbelievable fun, and its awsome how u can do it straight from cd, it sorta feels like changing a vinyal but smaller
they only thing i cant understand is keyboard shortcuts, they suck setting them up and then i dont remember them
could anyone help me with them pllzzzzzzz.......!
i just wana be able to do the effects, like have 3 spereate keys for each deck
but yeah

You can adapt shortcuts like you want. You can change the shortcuts and add a lot. You can also put many actions with only a key touch. Try it it's simple.

Like everything else, you have to spend some time to learn powerful tools. You can't be a success overnight at Djing or using tools, you should take some time to become familar... (practice)
Try labeling your shortcuts. You'll find that after a while, you don't need the lebels, because you would have LEARNED the positions.

Adding a shortcut is very straight forward : go to the config panel, shortcuts section, click on "add", and hit the key you want to use.

some allready there great keyboard shortcuts:
- f1 to f12: samples
- "1" to "9" : loop on active deck from 1/4 to 64 beats
- "P" : play on active deck
- "s" : stop on active deck
- "tab" : switch active deck
- "b" : beatlock active deck
- "page up/down" : move crossfader
- arrows : nudge song to fit beat
- spacebar : sync beat
some I have made myself:
- mute
- effects (1-2-3)
you can make these by adding shortcuts (one or more) to a specific key...

ive tried making shortcuts, i still need time to get it all,
ive use to use traktor and i made heaps of shortcuts on that and i could remember them all,
but my main prob is
when i try to make shortcut for effects, have 3 different keys for each deck, i know how to allocate the key and all, i just cant find the spot were it says sfor the efects 1,2,3
it says all this other junk in the effects part of the shortcut adding

just find the bit that says effects and then as the value property type 1,2,3 etc and you will get that effect... it is very easy onve you fidure out the initial steps

i got it, i did what u said i think and played around and firgured it out all by myself.... shoot it was hard it was staring me right in the face! dont u just hate that???, thanks for all the help everyone, ive now got 12songs which ive been practising mixing and going to record, hopefully i wont forget what to do, i probs will hahahahah,
