I just bought two CDJs and a DJM800. I want to test out the timecode cds with the demo copy of VDJ before upgrading to Pro. However, when i click the link to download the timecodes for CD, i am brought to a page which plays a beeping sound through Quicktime. Is this what is supposed to happen? and if so how do i burn this file to cd? Help!!

Right click and save as I believe.
Then burn it to cd as a wave file.
Then burn it to cd as a wave file.

Hehe;) not a track you wanna listen to, so RIGHT-CLICK it, and choose "save as..."

What soundcard are you gonna try on?

If you are going to use the Hercules soundcard, you also need to lower the volume on the timecode mp3 by minus 13db
You can do this in a free program such as www.audacity.com
Reason is that the CDJs play very loud, and the Hercules soundcard does not have a level adjuster for inputs.
After that, save the mp3 as wave (Windows PCM), and burn as audio cd;)
And u are ready to rock
