HI,
I am not sure what is up.
I want to make a shortcut key that goes to a certain transition. Let's say I want to press the "2" key and the transition changes to SLIDE.
I went to Video__select_ trans
where it says Value, I typed Slide and it works perfectly.
BUT,
When I tried to do the same thing with my midi controller something different appears.
I go to the same video__select__ trans, but when I pick the button or knob in midi, what appears in VDJ is
Absolute
Relative scale
this is different.
It will not let me assign a midi button as easily as a shortcut key.
Any ideas on this?
Actually to be more detailed, when I try to setup the midi button to go to SLIDE, the Value box is there, and I type SLIDE, but when I go to pick the button/knob, that disappears and I get the absolute and relative words again.
any ideas?
