I am using the computer destop window XP connecting to another mixer.
I hook the computer to the mixer by using one channel on the mixer and one sound card from the the computer.
My Problem is this: I can't pre-listing to the second music in the headphone before mixe it to the first.
Can someone help me ?
Do I need to use two channels on the mixer ?

good day,
i have alot of problems using virtual dj
1. how can i mix two songs from my laptop that has only one channel output sound but connected to thee mixer without it realising the song unmixed to the audience?
2. my virtualdj showed me a skin error and refuse to open.
3. thhe sound configure area has 2 points, 1 point, 4 points. the 2 points mixes for earphone only, but not when playin in a party.
4. can't i update my virtual dj 2.0 to a newer version instead of a trial version?
i would like this questions to be responded too soonest.

1. That u have to use a at least 4.1 card, for prelisten too.. (2 in 2 out).
2. U have to uninstalled n try reinstalled. betta yet try the official demo.
3. Not really sure what u are askin:)
4. If u bought pro, go n register urself in ur profile to take the latest version n benefits..
But if u use the "FUNKY" version, u have to buy to have the update.

then uninsatll the old version and sound drivers then re install the New bought copy

Hercules 5.1 Channel Audio Adaptar.

hello i have got the hercules mk1 and i am unabel to prelisten to one song in my headphones as i have only got a one channel output coming from my laptop. if i purchase the hercules 5.1 sound card that you suggested would i be able to prelisten to one track in my headphones while another trackk is being played through my speakers.
